Chopard LUC XP
In 1860, Louis Ulysse Chopard established a small exclusive business in Sonvilier. Back then, one of his most important customers was the Swiss railway which was worldwide famous for its punctuality and reliability. The pocket watches by Chopard were easily meeting these requirements and therefore the watchmaking company quickly became well-known far across the borders of Switzerland. After an extremely eventful company history, the luxury label is now owner of Karl Scheufele, a jeweler in Pforzheim. With the LUC Collection, which also includes the LUC XP, the jeweler has not only expressed his respect for the company founder Louis Ulysse Chopard. He also demonstrated how easy and elegant it can be to combine craftsmanship and art.

All timepieces from the LUC Collection are of course equipped with the famous movement of the same name which is also indicated by a small imprint on the dial. But the LUC XP inspires not only with its interior life. It is probably one of the few collections worldwide that make the hearts of watch enthusiasts beat faster because of the dials. Originally, it was created for men but this series from the LUC Collection also fascinates women and that is although the diameter of the models has impressive 39.5 millimeters. In addition to the classic dials with the nostalgic touch, also the so-called Chopard XP Urushi models belong to the Collection. The dials of these luxury models were hand-painted by Kiichiro Masumura, a well-known Japanese artist and thus they are unique specimen. The wonderful motifs magically attract the eyes and invite to explore all the fine details of the tiny paintings.
