Just recently presented at the Baselworld 2016, Oris has expanded its Culture Collection with the Artelier 112 by the next piece of jewelry. In the new milestone, aesthetics and precision are uniquely combined and demonstrate in their technical details and sophistication that Oris is going to make a name for itself again. This is impressive for a company that had to go through a hard time during the quartz crisis. Already the predecessors – the Calibre 111 and 110 – inspired watch lovers by the return to classic watchmaker's art. The Artelier 112 is now presenting itself with a GMT function and a day and night display. Winded by hand it is running with a power reserve of 240 hours – these are whole ten days.
Created for travelers crossing the time zones
With the Calibre 112 from the series Oris Culture the Swiss traditional company sets the basis on the previous Calibre 111 and complements it by a further complication. With the integrated GMT function it is now possible to have two zones displayed. Consequently, this new creation looks particularly good on people traveling a lot. Oris emphasizes the classic details with the choice between leather and stainless steel completely in line with the tradition of the Culture Collection. The stainless steel case with a bezel, optionally in silver-grey or rose gold, is completed by a domed sapphire glass on both sides. Also the case bottom is furnished with a sapphire glass and offers the opportunity to look inside the precisely working movement. Attention to detail is demonstrated by the Arabic numerals and indexes on the dial with which all models from the Artelier 112 make time passing in an elegant way.
