Simple classic or complex chronograph?

Two size variants of the Converter Auto are available: while the classic aviator watch relies on a 42-millimeter diameter and offers a date display as its only complication, the imposing 44-millimeter chronograph features a day-date function. Both versions have a stainless steel case that is water-resistant to up to 100 meters, the surface of which is coated with a black PVD finish on request. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown are part of the standard equipment of the Converter Auto, as is a viewing window on the back.

Through this, you watch the powerful automatic movement of your Khaki Aviation Converter at work. The simple aviator watch houses the caliber H-10 (base: ETA C07.111), which offers a hefty 80 hours of power reserve and, thanks to its Nivachron balance spring, is effectively protected against external influences such as magnetic fields. Even more robust is the silicon spring of the chronograph movement H-21-Si (base: ETA 7750), which enables the Converter Auto Chrono precise timekeeping and 60 hours of endurance.

The focus of this Swiss-made instrument is its rotating bezel, which together with the outer scale of the dial forms a versatile calculation scale. Whether converting miles to kilometers, switching between currencies, determining average speeds or calculating rates of climb – with your Hamilton Converter Auto you always carry a powerful mathematical tool on your wrist. White inscriptions on a black or dark blue background give the Hamilton outstanding legibility, which is maintained at night as well thanks to Superluminova on the hands and numerals.
