Inspired by the Sydney Harbour Bridge

With the exception of the classically oriented Multifort Patrimony, all editions of this masculine line are distinguished by Côtes de Genève on the dial, which create a three-dimensional and unique effect. In this way, these Swiss watches evoke the fine construction of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and stylishly express Mido's traditional affinity with the world of architecture. At the same time, the high degree of individuality is captivating: six different dial colors, stainless steel cases in a classic or PVD-coated finish and a broad family of luxurious metal and leather straps make the Mido Multifort a personal companion to suit your taste.

Positioned in a size range between 40 and 44 millimeters, every Multifort is equipped with sapphire crystal and offers up to 200 meters of water resistance. All models reveal their precise mechanics through a transparent case back, which achieves peak values of up to 80 hours of power reserve and, in the Multifort Chronometer collection, holds the coveted COSC certification. Among the available complications are, besides a power reserve indicator in the Power Reserve series, a chronograph function, a second time zone and a day-date display.

Mechanical pioneering spirit since 1918

Founded over 100 years ago by Georges Schaeren in Biel, Mido is named after the Spanish "Yo mido" ("I measure") and places its emphasis on the technical advancement of mechanical wristwatches. A milestone in the company's history is the Mido Multifort, the world's first automatic timepiece to be waterproof, shockproof and antimagnetic. The functional reliability of the watches produced today in Le Locle is reflected in their timeless and enduring designs, whose aesthetic affinity with architecture represents a uniqueness within the industry. For the Multifort's 80th anniversary in 2014, the brand entered into a partnership with the International Union of Architects (UIA), which comprises over 1.3 million members and supports young talent with the UNESCO-UIA-&-MIDO Student Award.
