Rolex Datejust 41 “Wimbledon”: dial, technology and variants

Features and technology

Only the Rolex Slate dial with green-outlined Roman numerals and a luminescent hour marker at 9 o’clock is considered a “Wimbledon” – other dials of the same references do not bear this name. In the Datejust 41 it sits in the Oyster case with a diameter of 41 mm; the watch is powered by the manufacture calibre 3235 with a power reserve of approx. 70 hours. The variants differ in material, bezel and bracelet: Oystersteel with a domed bezel (126300), Everose Rolesor with a domed or fluted bezel (126301, 126331), yellow Rolesor likewise with a domed or fluted bezel (126303, 126333) and white Rolesor with a fluted bezel (126334), each on an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. The dial is also available in the Datejust 36, for example in references 126200 and 126231.

History and catalogue status

According to Bob's Watches, the dial was introduced in 2009 with the Datejust II 116333 in yellow Rolesor. Today’s Datejust 41 was presented in Rolesor at Baselworld in 2016, with the steel version following in 2017. According to Monochrome (as of July 2026), the “Wimbledon” version remained unchanged in the 2026 dial revision as the only model with Roman numerals and is therefore still part of the collection. You will find further dial and material variants on the Rolex Datejust 41 page.
