Rolex GMT-Master II "Meteorite"

Rolex GMT-Master II "Meteorite"

  • 126719BLRO
  • Z100019

This Rolex GMT-Master II has the manufacturer's number 126719BLRO and a beautiful meteorite dial. The 40mm case and Oyster bracelet are made of 18 karat white gold. The chronometer is equipped with caliber 3285 and has both a date display and a second time zone.

This watch is the only GMT Master II with a meteorite dial. That is why this watch is nicknamed Meteorite. The meteorite was formed from the core of an exploding asteroid (possibly a planet) whose material traveled through the solar system and happened to fall into orbit around the Earth, where it was attracted by gravity. As the asteroid's slowly melting core cooled, it gradually transformed and took on an unusual metallic texture. Rolex engineers used this texture to create unique and exciting designs for their high-end models, including the GMT Master II.

Rolex is the only company capable of producing 18-karat gold bars in its own foundry using the best gold available. Depending on the percentage of silver, copper, platinum and palladium, different types of 18-karat gold can be produced. Rolex uses only the finest metals, which are thoroughly tested in the company's laboratories using state-of-the-art equipment and strict quality standards before being turned into gold. Rolex's commitment to excellence has been present from the beginning.
