U-Boat Classico Doppiotempo 46 Bronzo GR with the reference 9088 - made in Italy.
Ilvo Fontana, a precision instrument craftsman, received a prestigious commission from the Italian Navy. He was to design a new watch for their pilots. This challenge had to meet the Navy's high quality standards and very precise technical specifications, but above all it had to guarantee maximum visibility and reliability in any light or weather conditions. However, unfortunate circumstances at the time did not allow this. In 2000, Italo Fontana, Ilvo's grandson, discovered the precious designs that became his inspiration for the first U-Boat watch.
