Description

U-Boat Sommerso/A Bracelet with the reference 9007/A/MT – made in Italy.

Ilvo Fontana, a precision instruments specialist, received a prestigious commission from the Italian Navy. He was tasked with designing a new watch for their pilots. This challenge had to meet the Navy's high quality standards and very precise technical specifications, but above all, it had to guarantee maximum visibility and reliability in any lighting or weather conditions. However, unfortunate circumstances at that time did not allow this. In 2000, Italo Fontana, Ilvo's grandson, discovered the precious designs, which became his inspiration for the first U-Boat watch.
