These epithets come from the collectors’ community: "Tiffany" stands for the turquoise-blue dial whose hue recalls the famous turquoise of the New York jeweller, "John Mayer" for the yellow-gold Daytona with a green dial that the musician and watch collector made popular – its successor model is accordingly called "John Mayer 2".
