What does 200 m water resistance mean?
From 200 m (20 bar) the watch is suitable for swimming and snorkelling.
The metre rating refers to the test pressure of the water-resistance test, not a diving depth.
Description
NOMOS Glashütte Ahoi Neomatik Signal Blue with the reference 562 featuring a sapphire crystal caseback
The six-screw-down sapphire crystal caseback and screw-down crown make the Ahoi Series watches water resistant to 200 meters. The black textile strap of these models is also water resistant. The Ahoi has been tested according to NOMOS testing specifications, which are based on the dive watch standard DIN 8306.
