Two models, one mission: Maximum stability
The exclusive Blancpain Collection is composed of the regular 500 Fathoms as well as a GMT edition, each limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Both watches are designed with a focus on their outstanding water resistance of up to 1,000 metres, which even exceeds its eponym of 500 fathoms (about 915 metres). This enormous resistance is made possible by a titanium case of superlatives, featuring a decompression valve and a unidirectional rotating bezel, which is suitable for safe and professional underwater use.
Another highlight of these luxury watches is their sturdy, hand-made drive. Just like the classic Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Automatique Series, the mechanical movements have a brilliant power reserve of 120 hours and can be admired through the sapphire crystal back of the 500 Fathoms. Both the calibre 1315 of the "normal 500" and the 5215 in the "500 GMT model" stand out due to their uncompromising precision even under extreme pressure conditions.

The excellent performance of the Blancpain 500 Fathoms also includes the black dial. Stylishly contrasted by arrow-shaped indices, it scores with its generous numerals and wide hands for excellent readability. While both versions have a simple date display at 3 respectively 4 o'clock, the GMT model has an additional feature with its narrow hand for a second time zone. In addition to the simple structure of the dial, the high wearing comfort of the Swiss watches is also convincing, supported by a timeless canvas strap with folding clasp.
