Tradition by conviction
The manufacturing of high-quality timepieces with high standards of design and quality is part of the company's philosophy. Its history dates back to the year 1853 when Tissot, father and son, established the workshop. First, they produced pocket watches with parts from foreign production, then manufactured wristwatches and finally assembled own calibers as from 1920. And even if the company meanwhile belongs to the Swatch Group – the headquarters are still in Le Locle in the Swiss canton Neuenburg.
There, the production of the watches is divided into very varied model collections. With a case diameter of impressive 45 millimeters, the Chrono XL underlines its reputation of being a highly present sports watch. The chronograph, which is available in extravagant colours and business nuances, is complemented by watch straps of stainless steel, leather or textile.
