The Rolex Sky-Dweller with the reference number 326934 impresses with its radiant black dial. In addition, there is the case with a diameter of 42mm and the Jubilee bracelet made of stainless steel and white gold. The watch has a central second hand, a date display, an annual calendar as well as a second time zone and a screw-down crown. As a chronometer, the watch runs very accurately at all times. The Rolex Sky-Dweller is equipped with the caliber 9001.
The reference time, i.e. the local time at the traveler's place of residence or work, is calculated by an eccentrically rotating number disc. The 24-hour dial with red triangles clearly distinguishes between day and night in the reference time zone. The deep red rectangle, typical of the Saro annual calendar, is one of the 12 squares surrounding the dial and indicates the current month. This clever mechanism ensures that you never forget to set the date correctly at the end of each 30-day month. The calendar shows the correct date all year round; February has only 28 or 29 days, so you only need to correct it once, on March 1. The date refers to local time and automatically adjusts to the traveler's time zone.
Rolex's fluted bezel is unique. The original Oyster bezel had this fluting to make the watch water resistant. The fluting coincided with the fluting in the caseback, which was also screwed into the center of the Rolex watch with a special tool to make it waterproof. Over time, the fluting acquired a purely aesthetic function and became a defining element of the Rolex tradition. This fluted bezel is made of gold.
