Louis Brandt founded his self-titled label in 1848 which later became known as the luxury watches manufactory Omega under the leadership of his sons. 50 years after the foundation a timepiece called Omega – a pocket watch, which became famous for its outstanding quality and excellent workmanship – was manufactured. As Omega, the last letter of the Greek alphabet, metaphorically stands for the completion of a sphere of activity, the brothers decided to take that name. Thus, not only the famous pocket watches got special recognition and attention in the technical magazines at that time, also renaming the label was very successful. The company produced and still produces extraordinary watches that strike with innovative technology, fancy designs and a first-quality workmanship of precious materials. The Constellation is available for women and men

In 1982, the Omega Constellation was launched and since that time a particularly important detail hasn't been changed: The bezel is held by prongs or "handles" which make the watch extremely recognizable. The wristbands of the Omega Constellation are mainly made of stainless steel and various types of gold – some are held in bicolour optic. The bezels are also made of stainless steel, yellow-, white- or rosegold and are partly set with fine diamonds. The dials of the Constellation collection shine in white, brown, gold, silver, black, blue and even in purple.
