The Sixties Chronograph from the Glashutte Original Vintage is characterized by its very own mixture of sportiveness and elegance. The characteristic typography of the Arabic numerals 12 and 6 as well as the simple stroke indexes identify it as a member of the Sixties family from Glashutte Original and remind of the typical watch design of the 1960ies. It is apparent that it is a chronograph at first glance due to the two pushers at the side of the crown as well as on the two sub-dials which in each case is placed roughly centric in the left and right half of the dial. The stainless steel case has a diameter of 42 millimeters and is fitted with a strap of Louisiana alligator leather with folding clasp. The Vintage Sixties Chronograph is powered by a mechanic movement of the caliber 39-34 with automatic winding. Its power reserve enables operation for up to 40 hours. The specifically shaped sapphire glass bottom is a notable feature and was also used with other models from the Sixties line. It provides for a particularly good view into the movement. Despite its chronograph function, the Sixties Chronograph with a height of 12.4 millimeters under no circumstances appears too opulent and can easily be combined with a business suit or an elegant evening dress.
